Single-Phase Prepaid Energy Meter

A single-phase prepaid energy meter makes the customer pay before using electricity. The meter deducts credit as energy is consumed and cuts the supply when the balance reaches zero — so there is no unpaid bill to chase. We produce these meters in our own factory in Wenzhou, China and test every unit before shipment.

How Prepaid Metering Works

1. The customer buys credit from the utility, landlord or property office.
2. The credit is loaded onto the meter — by IC card, by Bluetooth from a mobile app, or remotely.
3. The meter displays the remaining balance and deducts it as energy is used.
4. When the balance runs out, the meter disconnects the load. Supply returns automatically after the next top-up.

Types We Produce

IC card prepaid meter — the classic solution. The customer inserts a card at a local vending point and the credit is written onto the card. No network is needed, which makes it suitable for areas with weak mobile coverage.

Bluetooth smart prepaid meter — the customer tops up and checks the balance in a mobile app, and the phone communicates with the meter over Bluetooth. No extra wiring and no card reader needed.
