What Is a Voltage & Current Protector?

It is a compact protection device installed on a 35mm DIN rail in front of the circuit it protects. It continuously watches the supply voltage and the load current. When the voltage goes too high, drops too low, or the current exceeds the set limit, it cuts the supply within milliseconds and reconnects automatically when conditions return to normal.

What It Protects Against

• Over-voltage — burns out appliances, motors and power supplies
• Under-voltage — makes motors overheat and compressors stall
• Over-current / overload — overheats wiring and can start fires
• Phase abnormality (three-phase types) — protects three-phase motors and equipment
